I had in late February, what an antibody test much later confirmed, was a mild COVID case, before any of the lockdown. Almost a month later I had neurological symptoms, left side numbness which sent me to the ER for an MRI and neurological workup. Nothing of note was "found" and it resolved itself, but fuck was it scary for a healthy 30-something. I didn't learn until a month after that that I had COVID and put together all the pieces of what had happened.

What's with the interrogation? If I want to tell an anecdote about my health should I go ahead and attach my bloodwork so you can decide if my opinion is valid?

Why is reality threatening to you? Most who have suffered negative outcomes from Cov2-sars have one or more of a particular set of health problems that contributed to their negative outcomes. This pandemic is changing the baseline of what is considered healthy. This isn't about you or your blood work, it is about the realities of public health. If you are unable to take responsibility for your situation then you should not be putting it forward as an example.

You are a little too confident, we are still early in this disease to be able to say things with such confidence although you did couch it with 'most'. Perhaps this person isn't 'most'.

I am not confident at all. I am questioning whether the statement of the situation is consistent. You are projecting nastiness because you care about emotional vulnerabilities than disease outcomes.

They just don't want to make all their medical information public. Is that not okay? If I get covid, can I not talk about it unless I disclose all my medical information?

Healthy state was claimed but turns out to be baseless. Don't claim to be in a healthy state if you can't support that. Why get uptight and mean about things you don't need to be sacan't People are dying by the hundred thousand and you think sloppy self reported data is no issue?

Yeah it's like massospora and other "zombie" fungi. Once it gets into your brain, you feel the need to join mass protests and invoke your individual liberty to not wear a mask. Then it spreads to the other tinfoil hats accompanying you just to get out of their homes and see people.

What a wit! For the average person who contracts COVID-19 it will cause quite a bit of incidental distress, and quite likely long-lasting damage to brain and cardio-vascular system.

“Quite likely”? That’s a heck of a claim to base on zero evidence. In fact this press release appears to contradict it:
> Symptoms affecting the central nervous system occurred in at least 0.04% of people with SARS and in 0.2% of those with MERS. Given that there are now 28.2 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide, this could imply that between 10,000 and 50,000 people have experienced neurological complications.
Do you see how many people have died? That's right. over 195,000 people.
It's not convenient for anyone that this is happening. There are a lot of people barely holding on right now. And you're in here complaining about some perceived loss of freedom?
They just don't want to make all their medical information public. Is that not okay? If I get covid, can I not talk about it unless I disclose all my medical information?
It is another item in the long list of uncommon effects of Covid-19. They admit they don't know much about it but it is worth investigating.

How about all the other laws? Wearing seat belt? Why can't we drink/use drugs and drive?
If anything masks should be welcome by conspiracy theorists, as those hide your face from cameras and AI in public.
Honestly, how can this make sense to you?
Neglible.
