Combining ideas - I think it would be a cool sci fi plot point if an actual 160 year old verified manuscript was flagged as 100% AI
besides what the others replied, cloning can be done by people with very little skill in the area and in general it's always way easier to work from a proven design (existing game) than to come up with one from scratch.
(2016) even more important because of the age we live in now.

It would be great fun.

Is there one for RP2350?

I don't have references unfortunately but I imagine that polymorphic viruses existed before the nineties.

that is fantastic

I always called myself a software mechanic.
You might enjoy this talk. I did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTfa2UF_oiI
Well I was tricked so I think it's better to be accurate.

I don't think it is better than just doing it yourself in Claude Code (in fact worse) but some people like cute UI for everything I guess.
There's a guy who did some cool mods for the Vectrex to improve it's ability to run faster vector lists (ie increase bandwidth ). This was so it would directly work from Asteroids arcade PCB.

https://www.e-basteln.de/arcade/asteroids/intro/

This won't work with that though, well maybe you could port it but what's the point... Mini is not a vector machine.
Exactly, Bleem came to mind for me - running PlayStation One games on Dreamcast through the same technique. Doesn't it really matter if you translate at run-time or ahead of time.
Rich people can afford slaves. Abhorrent practice.
The Chinese breakthroughs are often around optimization. And I gather it's because they are constrained and very bright so it's a natural progression.
We'll send Claude to settle there
Re:Doom (mhm) on a Vectrex but playable this time [video] on Monday October 05, 2026 @05:08PM (#49970769)
Vector Doom running on RP2350 cart. A surge of mostly AI coded conversions has hit the Vectrex recently and everyone loves Doom.
terminal were the OG dark mode. Nice hack to get around that!

You sure that wasn't just working at Microsoft?

Perhaps demand is going down abroad due to people eschewing US products.

note that unless you've de-anonymized your text - your own idosyncracies might be enough with other clues you've left to figure out who you are IRL
Re:Coding Is Not Solved on Monday September 28, 2026 @11:46AM (#49879889)
And another corollary is the formerly golden lazy and clever are also transformed into lazy and productive because they no longer need to apply their cleverness to get results...
Re:Owed a billion dollars in Nvidia stock on Monday September 28, 2026 @03:46AM (#49874810)
I don't have the same story but I did turn down a job offer from Nvidia in '97 which I think about from time to time.
Re:Writing Efficient C++ Code on Monday September 28, 2026 @01:54AM (#49874145)
Semantics - not worth me arguing about
Re:Writing Efficient C++ Code on Sunday September 27, 2026 @10:36PM (#49872921)
You really aren't in the "premature optimization bad" camp you just don't realize you optimize all the time but justify it as obvious. The main thing to know is that what is 'obvious' isn't unless you are profiling.
