All strains affect younger people more than older ones. Because they aren't vaccinated.

Anything else is one wolf deciding to eat two lambs. Also, if you enslave almost half the population you definitely don't have a democracy anymore -- unless your slaves are allowed and able to vote and participate in public discourse like anyone else, which likely would not quite be slavery anymore.

Of course they are paying for hours. An employer has no right to control your life outside the hours it pays for.

No. Your employer is simply irrelevant outside work hours. It's as if you had quit.

Yes, and many would be uncomfortable around black women. Or lesbians. Too bad for them, those are women too.
Sending unsolicited dick picks is sexual harassment. A woman changing in the women's changing room isn't.

Adversely affecting the aviation industry is kind of the whole point you gits.

It's a woman's changing room, not a whoever-you-like-seeing changing room. There is no reason (other than some sort of puritanism) to get freaked out about girls seeing penises. In this context, it's just a body part.

That's a feminist group, not a trans group, but point taken. Though that seems to be more of a group of female prudes. Unless female connectors/plugs are considered somehow inferior to male ones in the industry?
Re:“Plug and socket”, industry group pushes for "obvious" change in te...
on Thursday July 08, 2021 @08:21AM (#27770980)
You actually do, in this case. If using the terms "male" and "female" causes harm, the harm it causes is psychological. You can't really realize it from the outside. There is nothing to pre-empt here: These terms are already used to either they already cause harm or they won't start doing so. Which means there is no reason to effectively guess if they cause harm since you can actually ask someone who you think may be harmed. Solving a problem that doesn't actually exist is just a waste of time and resources. Moreover, it gives people the impression that "wokeness" in general is just pointless virtue signalling.
Re:“Plug and socket”, industry group pushes for "obvious" change in te...
on Thursday July 08, 2021 @08:05AM (#27770857)
If this terminology actually causes harm we should see trans people and groups propose such a change, not an industry group looking for a PR opportunity.

That will take a while because there is no such thing as proof outside mathematics. But the fact that the percentage of people who suffer permanent damage from Covid is neglible and there would have been plenty of time to detect it is as close as it gets.
