Am American, grew up as a NASCAR fan, I’ve never heard someone say “racing cars” as a noun

The claim that most people hit by cars were in the street?

I’ve never wanted to learn how LLMs work more than reading this. Fascinating.

Does divagr get paid to do wild things with LLMs? Just curious if they’re being compensated for these wild experiments

Just enough tax dollar grift with deportations as a side effect

What you’re asking for is state run media
:/

IMO that there is any work at all to build from is the result of a long tradition of taking the next step. Professor to student and so on. The danger of AI here is we get to take a leap, say, 10 steps - but then there is no more tradition to have the fortitude and mentoring necessary to continue the progress.

It all gets derailed while betting on RSI and never having to do math research again (but if an advanced theorem is proven, and no one alive is competent enough to comprehend it, does it even matter that we get to call it solved?)

It’s not illegal to lie on the internet

It should be illegal to make life and death decisions based on automated reasoning. I know it’s coming and I’m being a curmudgeon but I will hold fast, the liar is not responsible for being believed.

I like the Wikipedia comparison, forget about the automated reasoning. Wikipedia does not make any representations as to the truthfulness of its content. If you’re a medical doctor and believe some wiki graffiti, you are the responsible party, you are the one that’s supposed to know better.

If you want to rebut I’m most interested in knowing what law you believe would be cited in a data poisoning case.

No

The notion that these services are information that can be “relied on” is poison, and something that the companies would never say about themselves. Imagine as the bottom of ChatGPT it said “no need to doubt the results, this Oracle can be relied on”

You can have anything you want, so long as you want it more than everything else.
Because the latter included clips of the presidents son smoking crack and hanging out with prostitutes? lol

I like Orion too. No source but at least it’s zero telemetry

Brother do not cancel anything for these people, they do not care about you, it's their fault for not considering bus factor in their org chart. Why can't the person above you handle that?
No; it’s a signal of lobotomy. Models get dumber near where you sensor them. You could almost think of it like your prompt is getting redacted, and so the LLM has to deal with these holes in your prompt (where you mentioned the semantic contraband) and it doesn’t do a very good job because it has no idea what you’re talking about.

The mechanism is likely a bit inverted, it’s the weights that have been redacted, but the effect is that weights that were interfered with are affecting the problem solving abilities of the LLM - I mean, it’s insecure bad code, not a backdoor, right?

Maybe it was more of being a middle schooler than a wider social phenomenon, but silly myths got a lot of play in the days before Google!
Hell yea I love that computers are getting another chance at becoming compute fabric, just using each others GPUs. Sick.

Russia apologists consider Zelensky a dictator installed by “The West” and use the same verbiage of stolen elections as Trumpists

> if left untreated, is known for spontaneously combusting as it decays and oxidizes.

Does anyone remember the 90s when as a laymen it seemed like an open debate whether humans would occasionally combust spontaneously? I guess it stopped happening once falling asleep with a cigarette lost popularity

But my point is I wasn’t aware that “spontaneous combustion” was a real thing one has to worry about it. Linseed oil rags will do this too, and that’s why patent leather shoes are coated in plastic now instead.

I guess it’s unclear why an entire congress goes along with it (I blame democrats too for sane washing and going about their workday)
how about the LLMs being used for target selection in Iran? Or does collateral damage not count?
Re:How the Claude Code team does code review on Sunday October 18, 2026 @01:31AM (#50138172)
My point wasn’t that compilers are just as bad as LLMs, but that whether humans or robots are writing code, it’s still going to be Just Good Enough to ship.
So fun fact, when learning Chinese I always thought it was weird that America gets to be “meiguo” beautiful country. Like how would the Chinese know America was beautiful, maybe the Americans described their own country this way? Or is mei guo just a rough cognate for Meri-Ca ?

But later I found a footnote that suggested the use of mei here is reflexive, in meiguoren, “people who find themselves to be beautiful” and that makes a lot more sense to me :)

As long as you didn’t intend to hack private information it’s No Big Deal :) according to CFAA that is

As long as your intent is merely to train a superintelligence to be good at hacking (and counterhacking), you’re in the clear.

It’s one thing not to monitor the reasoning traces of 10,000 text generators but do they really lack the wherewithal to pipe any network requests into a classifier of “wtf is this series of outbound traffic from the sandbox” ?
