That said, don’t pretend the side you’re referencing is “peaceful”. It is extremely militant. They explicitly seek out moderator and other positions of power to enforce their world views via censorship.
I’ve seen the discord groups where they openly discuss doing this. They pride themselves on silencing others who they deem have violated their orthodoxy.
There isn’t a fridge gaming community on the internet that is safe from you and it is incredibly frustrating. Resistance is inevitable.
Frankly, the LGTBQ community are fighting for survival. If the far right gets what they want, these people will not be able to live in safety. So maybe being militant is reasonable when their lives are being threatened.

And to the extent that we accept it, it is a demand to reject fertility as an indicator for human health.
By all means eat yourself into a sphere, neuter yourself with sex hormones, mutilate your genitals - live your best life, but understand that if we all behaved that way the species would go extinct.
