I don't think there's an agenda but the article title is semi clickbait, I knew 90% chance it was going to be about son accepting it and grieving but I clicked on the off chance it was more dramaric like "son disagreed" or "parents did it in secret" type deal

Typically bible pushing religious people but not always so one can not be sure. I think the jest of that one is that one of the partners was in better health and wanted to follow the other one into after life. But you know 100s of years ago people would just walk into the river...
