Smart move by Apple. I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Severance and can recommend it to everyone.

Severance was the slowest most anti-climatic tv show I've watched in quite a while. Rottentomatoes audience score is 88%.

Every episode has a plot twist, I hate slow tv shows, but severance was not!

Same, also season 2 is coming Q1 2025.

Jan. 17 to be precise.

Severance is amazing. Hands down the best show of the year.

Anyone have suggestions for what's worth watching on this?

I've only watched Severance on a free month offered by a tie-in a year or so ago.

On average, Apple TV has higher quality than other services. The shows are almost exclusively high budget, with talented actors and directors. I've found Shrinking, Killers of the flower moon, Napoleon, Silo, For All Mankind, Severance, Foundation, and Ted Lasso to be fantastic.

There are a bunch of others like Pachinko, which look like quality dramas - but I haven't had time to check them out.

Besides other mentioned, Shrinking and Bad Monkey is quite OK.

Presumed Innocent, maybe not the best, but it is also something to watch.

For All Mankind is fantastic.

Foundation is good and bad.

“For all mankind” is excellent. As is “Silo”

I enjoy “invasion”

And there is always “Ted Lasso”

Silo is pretty good

Ted Lasso is feel good. Slow Horses is a great spy show. Silo is good post-apocalyptic sci-fi. Hello Tomorrow! was kinda fun (but not renewed). Masters of the Air is a good WW2 show. Manhunt is a good Civil War era period piece. Dark Matter is interesting sci-fi but probably don't think too much about it.. Mythic Quest is a fun comedy a la Silicon Valley. Schmigadoon! is fun if you like musicals. The Big Door Prize was super goofy.

* Slow Horses

* For All Mankind

* Ted Lasso

* Severance

* Silo

* Foundation

Severance. Silo. For All Mankind. Ted Lasso.

Slow Horses is fantastic! Gary Oldman as an old semi-retired spymaster in a show that's more talking than action? Yes please.

Pachinko

Slow Horses is a great spy series.

As it's only a weekend and at best you could maybe binge Slow Horses I would recomend the standalone episodes of Mythic Quest.

Season 1 has "A Dark Quiet Death" Season 2 has "Backstory"

Prehistoric Planet

Dark Matter

Tehran

Long Way Up

Hijack

Does this just include Apple originals or does it also include non-Apple shows and movies that Apple is merely the current streaming distributor of?
