How do you interact with it, ooi? Hand-tracking, voice, ... ? (Can't really touch the headset or controller with wet and/or busy hands).
> I really wish there was an easy way to put the older 3d blu-ray movies on the device to watch movies,
Oh there is, it just involves the high seas route. Also most movie-players on these devices suck a bit, i.e. they are either "too immersive" and make it difficult to use pass-through, or too useless like the builtin one.
There are actually some tools that exist to convert blu-rays to SBS 3D if you’re looking to go legit.
While its screens obviously aren't as good as the Apple unit, it does offer better FoV too. It also fills the "hog cranking" usecases (as discussed earlier :P) if this is important to you. Again, 1/7th the price. The hand tracking is even pretty reasonable too.
You can also pick up the Quest 2, which is still not that bad frankly, for $199 right now. Sure the fidelity is not as good as Apple can do, but the core of the VR experiences is all there - especially at 1/17th the price. My experiences with most people and VR is that the novelty wears fast - it might be better for some to just be 200-500 dollars outta pocket once bored than 3500.
So... once a month?
