That's the same double speak that gets us Citizens United and Right to Work.

It’s borderline a Big Lie to accuse the other side of doublespeak when the LGBT community so aggressively pushes “trans women are women”.

That just drives home the point that we need clear, universally accepted terminology for when we are referring to mental identity versus physical attributes. I feel like a large part of the disagreement on policies towards transgender people today are manifestations of this ambiguity. Other languages do a better job than English, for certain.

Well in reality, they're men who desire to be women.

We just refer to them as women in social situations so as not to hurt their feelings - not because they are actual women.
