I have not signed up, but from examining your site it seems that you don't have payed accounts, as a user I'll be afraid to trust you my files for a long time, even for free accounts, because it will seem that you're not sustainable and will go bust some time in the future and I will lose my files.

From the help page (emphasis mine):

> Why is Minus absolutely free? > > Our goal is to create a world-class product and experience for our users and the business model will follow. We can see many ways Minus can monetize itself.

Wow. Wishful thinking?

Weird title - nothing about this company seems French

Yeah sorry seems that I completely mixed two news at the same time. This one about a dropbox "clone" and a one about a new cloud solution by a French company.

Only the word 'concurrent' is French
Re:Minus, a new competitor to Dropbox by koopajah on Tuesday September 13, 2011 @07:34AM (#2990946)
Sorry, as I said in another comment I mixed two news at the same time. I edited the title to reflect the proper pitch about Minus. My bad!

"Concurrent"? Did you mean competitor, or counterpart, or clone?
Re:Minus, a new competitor to Dropbox by joelhaasnoot on Tuesday September 13, 2011 @07:03AM (#2990862)
concurrent = competitor
Re:Minus, a new competitor to Dropbox by DrJokepu on Tuesday September 13, 2011 @07:10AM (#2990886)
Useless trivia: the French word for a competitor is "concourant", hence the mistranslation.
Re:Minus, a new competitor to Dropbox by lloeki on Tuesday September 13, 2011 @07:16AM (#2990904)
Useless trivia, round 2: concourant(fr) is concurrent(en) as in concurrency(en), concurrent(fr) from concourir(fr) is indeed competitor(en)
Re:Minus, a new competitor to Dropbox by valinor4 on Tuesday September 13, 2011 @07:13AM (#2990896)
no, it is not. the french word for a competitor is "concurrent".
