Newly launched interest rate swap protocol, just went live on Base today.
This opens up the potential for long term, fixed rate loans in DeFi, by providing rate swaps to lenders and speculators.
The TradFi market for this is huge, +$400 TRILLION, could be the next big thing in DeFi if this catches on. They're running a points program for early adopters
Initial support for rates on Aave,...

https://rocko.co/learn/how-to-refinance-a-defi-loan/
We've recently launched the capability for borrowers to easily refinance crypto backed loans on Rocko in one click. Curious to hear folks reaction to this and thoughts on the feature?
Rocko makes it easy to borrow against your crypto through top DeFi protocols. This avoids a ton of the risk associated with traditional collateralized loans that caused many competitors in the space to drop out over the past few years.
All collateral is locked transparently in audited protocol smart contracts, funds are secured through a self custodial wallet that only the user has access to, and loans are all denominated in USD with flexible rates determined by the protocol based on supply/demand.
Our vision is to build one marketplace that allows borrowers to the easily access the best rates from any number of protocols, networks, and crypto assets.
We want to make DeFi easy for everyone.
Curious to hear thoughts from the community, feature requests, or personal experience in the past with a crypto backed loan?

This is super cool! Download link?
'impossible, by design', unless you implement multi-signature keys for account recovery
People used to say the same thing about JavaScript, now it runs most of the internet.
No reason EVM can't evolve to be less cumbersome
Stacks is really going off in the wrong direction here.
If they aren't building an EVM compatible chain, they are going to fall quickly behind in the space and never recover
You just fully described cryptocurrency transactions. Crypto having the additional benefit of applying to online transactions as well vs in-person only transactions with cash
They shouldn't have anything to worry about, unless they have something to hide
Alternatively, this could be achieved by an affirmative action on the grantor's side. For example, require a signed transaction from a particular wallet every X months, if no transaction occurs, then trigger the switch
Because the vast majority of people living in earth don't have access to traditional equity markets
We don't need a clearing house at all. A simple blockchain fixes this and provides 100% of the settlement service that this company provides.
If only a public shared ledger was available for these institutions to settle trades on.
People love knocking Bitcoin here, but this is why the technology exists. No reason to continue letting these institutions run smoke-and-mirrors with everyone's money
The reason for this is the fact that large businesses profit from being the middle-man here. Moving towards automated settlement on a blockchain reduces cost and increases efficiency,it's a win-win for everybody except the middle-man
It's like Twitter and email met on Tinder and had a baby Mastodon
This is really cool! Way to push the web ahead Brave!
Facebook doesn't show ads. Facebook sells ads
This service is sketchy to the max. The public profile issue was the last straw.
The low quality candidates passing through is due to poor quality controls and the ease of gaming the system by cheating
This is 100%, the fact the US can barely manufacturer face masks during a global pandemic is embarrassing.
On the other end, how do you compete with slave labor in the Chinese factories?
Your mom can continue to use the apple store in that case
At least you got in early on those PLTR stock options
Why would the RIAA have any right to demand the rolling cipher be removed?
> most at high risk don't know that they are
This is not factually accurate. The majority of deaths are those 65+, most people in this group are aware of their age
This was removed because the machine generated captions have reached near parity with crowdsourced captions. Machine captions can be scaled to caption the entirety of YouTube, something crowdsourcing could never accomplish.
