Asking for help only works in environments of acceptance, inclusion and respect.
Maybe we should use a tooltip on the blur to explain things.
Awesome. Love the name/domain. Beautiful UI that will clearly keep getting more so. Couple of thoughts re design: 'Love sharing great things to do?' box should line up on the right side with the right side of the boxes above (using Safari.) I'd also try making the width of the sign up bar at the bottom the same as the footer bar (Home | What is This?, etc.) Keep up the sharp work.
Only use jQuery? Would love to hear more about the tech stack.

Did I do something wrong here? Relatively new to HN. Is this how opinions are treated?
css design is beautiful though. in general, if you put a table design next to a css design, the css design will be more aesthetically pleasing.

It is not hard to imagine this house with window shades or different window shapes, sizes or technologies to make them opaque at the right time.
It is not really that outlandish. Ugly houses are not going to kill you or anyone else - directly. It is that the more we degrade the human and natural environment by creating ugly, depressing, inhumane spaces, places and practices, the less capital (natural, human, etc.) our children, their children and their children will have live on.
why aren't we getting euro diesels in the us?
does this mean that if I am using tweetdeck on a mac that i am vulnerable?
great hack in my opinion...
I wonder how much money is being lost by businesses who buy multiple monitors for their employees and "allow" or encourage them to multitask?

Cities are a different beast.
I do believe it is a survival issue. Call me extreme but if we don't start making the manufactured landscape beautiful we are going to destroy the "natural" landscape completely. I would rather everyone be fed, clothed, sheltered and educated. If we cover those bases the chances of living in a more aesthetically appealing world are much higher.
Brilliant post and great improvement on the design. It is much easier to look at and absorb. This goes along with the intent of my comment on the "Eye candy is a critical business requirement" post.

all great points. i love gmail's bells and whistles but there is something a little unsettling about how they "handle" customer service.
Just highlights the importance of bargaining position. Make deals when you don't need them, because you won't be able to when you do.I think this is the real take home here.
Amazing. I'm going to give my new 13" MBP a few more months but this seems like a great mod.
