Anecdotal evidence about neurofeedback, especially TAGSync, always made me curious but this stuff seems to expensice to try. I am glad we are progressing at methods and evidence, maybe one day more people will be able to try it.

This was absolutely hilarious, but how comes the federation has power over people who don't want to have anything to do with it?

Great news, but they didn't say anything about selling transistors to the public. When do you think we can expect to buy those like we do with mosfets?

Ask HN: Is it possible to become productive?

Dear HNers,I have never achieved something through systematic work, my productivity consists of aperiodical peaks caused by fads. I am tired of this, because I feel I lose a lot of opportunities of self-improvement despite the fact I drown in free time. My suspicions are that this problem is known to non-trivial amount of HNers. This makes me wonder:Has anyone managed to really overcome...

Ask HN: What recent technologies have matured?

Fellow HNers.I am thinking about creating a web app and would like to add some novelty to the process of development as the product I am thinking about (basically a specialized CMS) is nothing fancy.I have used Ruby and written some node/express but I didn't like it, mainly due to poor documentation. Also I would like to try some fancy front-end framework and am thinking about react with...

It's a major city in Poland. Competition here is quite big, however I am not planning on fighting them, obviously.

That is exactly what I mean. English is not my native language so maybe I was a little bit ambiguous.

Ask HN: How can I start a small software shop?

Hi!I am first year electronic engineering student from Poland. I really like web development, had worked on handful of small projects and I feel I could start doing software for local customers.I have moved in here six months ago, currently I have no business contacts, except for rather large network of software engineering students.Dear HN, where should I start to get at least mildly successful?
