Larrabee did succeed - it just got rebranded as Xeon Phi and is sold as a high-performance computing PCI card.

Not really, at least for those of us that seated at an Intel talk about Larrabbe on GDCE back in 2009, on how Larrabee would revolutionize graphics programming.

It did in terms of HPC. Not Gfx, which failed miserably.
