In fact, I think you will find it is exceptionally clear writing. I think almost anyone can understand the differences and what is alter even with a quick read.

Some of the sexiest sentences in research finding I have read. “ Their results showed direct experimental evidence of chirality – an asymmetric magnetic structure, akin to a spiral staircase or a screw – in the spins of an altermagnetic candidate material.”
I appreciate the clarity that crystallizes in poetry this author manages!

I liked this bit: low level devices and data centers — as if these are on the same scale

"The "Spin" is a total ghost story: Permanent magnets work because the intrinsic "spin" of unpaired electrons aligns in the same direction. But if you ask a physicist what is actually spinning, the answer is absolutely nothing. Electrons are mathematical point particles with zero physical radius; they physically cannot rotate. "Spin" is just an abstract quantum angular momentum value we plug into the Dirac equation because it happens to match reality" - Gemini
Physics aside, Chiral Altermagnon is a great band name.
