I don't know how much time is spent 'drafting' at architecture practices vs modelling.
The drawings can be resolved from a data-enriched 3D model, which is normally where the hard hours go.
Personally, I found a lot of systems to be a little behind regarding UX/CX in Japan.
Clearly once great and really ahead, but a little dated, by modern expectations.
I think robotically driven historic building renovation is one of the safest jobs.
1. Loads of pent up historic demand
2. Work is complex, sensitive and physical.
3. There's more history every day!
Look into the debacle that happened when UpCodes tried to make building legislation widely available. They were sued for copyright infringement!
I found it perplexing how the dragons shrank in size, or perhaps the castle turret in the background didn't shrink fast enough.
Either way, the sense of believability was rapidly (and smoothly) lost.
And AI becomes the only way to handle the deluge - the system insists upon itself.
By Pedro Medeiros - to anyone in the construction industry, this UI will almost certainly remind them of Autodesk's Revit.

Ironic that the LLMs appear to suffer from groupthink then!
The bison have been around for 4 or so years now. It's in Blean Woods near Canterbury.
Self replicating AI via smart fridges you say?
Silicon Valley nailed it.
Hey, some of us love and appreciate that red hair too!
I've long been a fan of the way 3b1b illustrates and explains math.
I wonder if something like OpenAI's recent IntelligentUI feature couldn't also be used to creature beautiful, intuitive walkthroughs of otherwise opaque areas of math?

If AIs start getting truly good at innovation, we may cease to recognise our reality.
I saw one mathematician describe the recent OpenAI math-dump as 'alien-like' math.
Imagine a world of countless new aircraft designs, fuel sources, musical genres, architectural styles. It could be bewildering.
I guess I was hoping for concrete evidence, charges brought and consequences. Given the length of the read I'd wanted some payoff...
Yes I found there was some suspicion. The rest read to me as related thematic padding.
It's a long, meandering read never comes close to a clear claim or conclusion.
IIRC it was religious bodies targeting / lobbying / infiltrating them as a way to push their censorship beliefs? Perhaps someone else knows better
They just cut the masts off it last week, apparently to stop boats heading over to look at it.
I saw them while still attached earlier this summer - very spooky, like being next to a potentially active volcano.
Oh gosh, this is really rather nice.
Something with an internal world naturally has its own drivers and desires. If you leave a AI model alone, it doesn't just wander off into the world, develop ideas about its destiny and begin chasing them. It just sits waiting for the next prompt. It doesn't daydream when we're not looking, at least AFAIK.

Kind of a genius move to name it 'America' from the get go.
Being able to zoom on mobile at all would be great.
And a way to close all of the overlay panels!
"What's a paperclip?"
- Kids today, probably
Yeah — but JavaScript... :D
