I haven't used it for months since the admins permabanned by 15 year old account for citing a controversial wikipedia article directly related to a controversial UK news story on a UK news subreddit.

Kinda annoyed me because I am more aligned with the normie take and was just steel-manning in good faith – which was clear from my comment and made clear again in my appeal.

To be fair though, apparently there are topics which are not allowed to be discussed on Reddit and I naively didn't realise this.

I had an account for 14 years with no issues, and it seems ever since the pandemic, I was just racking up bans left and right, even a 3 day site wide ban once. Decided to leave not long after that

kinda bold for a site to have "not allowed to be discussed topics" when half of their userbase scream 1989 when anything about china is posted

I made the mistake of using "ice" and "illegal" in one sentence and got shadow banned.

Hm, an account of the same name on Reddit seems to be actively posting, and the comments are visible.
