I think you're provably wrong about their being a genocide, even using Hamas' most recently adjusted casualty numbers [1] https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/defense-news/article-84859... [2] https://www.vox.com/world-politics/2024/5/17/24159263/gaza-d... if you prefer a left wing source, but also you should be able to say that (without being banned from the entire site) so that we can debate and you don't feel like your voice is being silenced.

>The Israeli military has admitted that more than 80 percent of the people killed in the attacks on Gaza since Israel breached the ceasefire two months ago are uninvolved civilians, Hamakom reported on 13 May.

I have no idea who Hamakom (the original source for this info) is, but a secondary source that quotes “Gaza Ministry of Health” without identifying that this is Hamas like say WSJ does is not likely to be a quality publication.

Update: translated Hamakom article - you can judge for yourself whether you think this is a reliable source of information: https://www-ha--makom-co-il.translate.goog/1058990-2/?_x_tr_... “ IDF and Shin Bet in joint statement: The war is pointless and everything is stupid” doesn’t convince me, likewise whatever they’re trying to say about Natanyahu’s wife.

So, if it hasn't been already been passed, where's your limit?

I'm not sure, but the lowest combatant:civilian combat ratio in any modern conflict is not it.

As far as I can tell, pretty much every org or governing body that can classify something as a "genocide" have already done so.

That said, getting into an argument over which word to classify the senseless murder of innocent men, women, children, journalist, medics, etc. in the context of a multi-decade illegal occupation, seems like a distraction.

No. The ICC President even came out and explicitly corrected people that were claiming the ICC ruled that Israel was causing a genocide due to the influx on online conspiracy theorists. Anyway, this is slightly offtopic re: Reddit moderation.

You already have all the sources you need. You're just ignoring them for reasons I don't know, and I am not interested in playing this game with you, since I've already seen your Zionist comments on this website in the past.

Follow the sources here in case you're interested in having some sources. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_genocide

Yes Tom, I'm aware. My post was pointing out that while I vehemently disagree with the OP, but still support his right to have an account on Reddit. As I've mentioned elsewhere the discussion re: the genocide hoax is off topic regarding Reddit account bans, and I wish people would stop replying to me with their own takes.
