Hi HN,

I got tired of Duolingo so I built a 10x AI first version http://lua.cafe.

I entirely vibe coded it with Windsurf, literally wrote 0 line of code and the app is genuinely amazing and 10x more useful than Duolingo.

It's using ElevenLabs APIs for the most realistic TTS and GPT/whisper for text gen and STT.

Languages supported atm: French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German.

This just looks like a ChatGPT wrapper with a button that prompts it to explain a sentence in English. I don't see how this is better than an intentionally designed language-learning course, or just practicing a language by talking to any other language model. This does no actual teaching.
