The only song generator I like is https://sonauto.ai because you can upload clips of real songs and change the lyrics like a Weird Al parody. I suspect that's all most people would like to do with these apps, and I also suspect that they don't let you do it for legal reasons, not technical reasons.

Here's one I did, "Can You Feel the AGI" to the tune of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight": https://x.com/modeless/status/1792058258523668702

How exactly do you replace song's lyrics with your lyrics on this website?

You upload a clip and type a description that matches the music you uploaded plus the different lyrics you want. You may have to tune the settings to get it to change the lyrics without making too many changes to the melody. There's a slider to control the relative importance of the uploaded music vs the typed lyrics and instructions. You may also have to tweak the spelling of the lyrics to guide the pronunciation.

Looks promising. I found a music generator called heymusic.ai and was considering subscribing, the songs were fun to make with the kids, but then it disappeared off the face of the earth with no updates anywhere online. I'm cautious of subscribing to AI services, lots of GEN AI startups popping up and it's not easy to make a profit

- Please make your buttons disabled after clicks while loading :( I couldn't realize at the beginning if I spend my credit or not.

- And, it still says "Generating...", I think HN guys broke the server :)

- Pricing: I cannot understand why these kind of services require monthly subscription, it look weird to subscribe a service that I use a few times in a year.

- Some examples could be nice before signing up.

Bro，thank you for your feedback. We'll work on making those improvements.

Is this wrapping Suno? Not going to make an account with only generic marketing copy and no samples.

You should make the text input field focus when the page loads.

Thank you bro

HTTP Error 500 - Server Error upon Google login.

heads up, wasted my time on a rhyme, just for it to get deleted by "You need to be logged in"

Fixed！ Thank you bro

Yea. Maybe it's an age thing. But at this point I just can't be bothered to sign up for accounts of sites that don't even let me use and sample it once.

Agreed. I did the same thing and immediately closed the tab

Already seems to be HN Hugged to death.

Fixed！

Damn, this is pretty good: https://song.do/play_music/0634c077e5ff3a79746a6e7a4a3f414d?...

The pompt was: "Menacing New York style rap piece about the dangers of carrots". It kinda delivered!

Clicking the generate song button seems to do nothing.

Seriously, I respect the work that has gone into something like this, but I struggle to see any market for it. The world is not crying out for more new songs. Spotify has over 100,000 uploaded a day. Admittedly a proportion will be generated, but honestly, who really needs them?

youtuber background tracks.

What about commercial use rights? Could I use a song I created in a for-profit manner, say a soundtrack to an indie film or a youtube channel?
