You aren't acknowledging the fact that four ODMs have come forward and said they plan to limit the SoC voltages -- the very issue cited -- in future firmware revisions. They have communicated this through public statements that you or anyone else can read. They aren't changing these settings for their health, or taking the PR damage for no reason whatsoever. You appear to be a bit uninformed, but I think your affiliation with your company might have clouded your interest in actually studying the issues before you comment. Here are the statements:
