Well the rust support goes a long way.

Slow bottlenecking gems? Replace them with new rust native gems as of 3.2

I feel like the fact you didn’t really answer the question actually does answer my question. Every programming major programming language has something like that. Python has C extensions for example. If I’m asking you if it’s fast and you’re telling me about how you can use Rust instead well then it’s effectively a dead language.

over the years people have done so much using Ruby and the other so called "dead languages", the new kids on the block will never do in a 20 or 30 years ahead.

ruby is a dead language used by nobody. my advice, stick with python.

fact that you made a new account to tell us that python is faster, ruby is dead says a lot.

enjoy holidays!

Ruby is faster than Python in many benchmarks but it obviously varies by domain so make your own benchmarks. Ruby also has JIT which Python does not.
