For three hundred years, America kidnapped slaves from Africa, and used them in the most horrifying and evil ways.
And their descendants still live in America, mostly in poverty, trapped in areas without schools. One of the two political parties in America considers that most of these descendants of slaves are contemptible animals and makes no bones about it.
Your response to this is - nothing. No compensation; no reparations; the slavers who owned them in fact got compensated while African-Americans got nothing.
It's unfortunate you lack compassion or a sense of justice, but luckily, people with more of an ethical and moral sense got this one perk setup in this otherwise horrifying and destructive system.
