It was pulled from the market almost immediately after it was developed in 1998. Twenty-five years later, the painful disease is on the rise

Wikipedia tells me that Lyme disease is also in Europe.

Why don't other countries license LYMErix?

IIRC LYMErix is only effective against a specific strain of Lyme which is only found in North America.
