I'm 19 now and sort of feel robbed. The first year if this thing, I remember being rushed home and thinking this would blow over in a week, then 2, then a month, then just settling into this perpetual feeling of melancholy while I missed prom, graduation, welcoming ceremonies at university and having to stay in a shitty hotel because of social distancing overflow. I generally have a numbness to this feeling of missing out and have realized that not having these moments will remove the romanticized feelings people often have for this time later in life. I've mainly used this time to do all of those side projects I never finished, plus some new things. So in short, I've grown in my knowledge, but have become more cynical to a fault
