I prefer to write code on a 5K iMac, it is the best 27” screen out there, and code looks paper-like in resolution. 220 PPI is an ideal pixel density.

It's unfortunate that the price difference between 27" 4k and 27" 5k is enormous.

One is 163ppi and the other is 218ppi, that’s a huge difference. Anyways, it isn’t that bad if you just buy an entire iMac 5k. But ya, the LG standalone is pricey.
