Facebook has a ton of dark patterns. There is always one unread message in there shitty messenger client. Except there are zero conversations because I deleted them.

And the messenger app is an incredible piece of junk, whoever did the ux with the chat heads should find a new line of work.

Chat heads are the first thing I disable on every new phone.

I mostly get frustrated by features breaking and then staying broken for months. I don't know how things like not being able to expand an image or play a video you've sent are slipping past testers.

Fascinating. I always wish other apps had the chat head feature as it's pretty much the only reason I still use the messenger app instead of Trillian.
