So most people on the autism spectrum are out. And then later:

> We must make room for people who are not like us [...]

> Our success and value is not dependent on exerting all of our energy on contributing to software.

Success and value were never a function of how much of your time and energy you dedicate to your job. Success/value is a function of results. If the products you build are successful hardly anybody will look at how much time you spend at work. In other words success is a function of... success. I don't understand why anyone would try to redefine these basic concepts.

This is so moralizing it no different than joining a cult.

Wait why do they or we care if she/they sign it? Aren't they "Post-Meritocracy"?

"We believe that interpersonal skills are at least as important as technical skills."

- Me thinks that technical skills are not important at all. If we want to compete with Chinese all we need is warm feelings and Kumbaya.

"Our highest value is diversity. We shall support and empower people unlike us so they can be part of our group. If they mentally process social interactions differently than us we shall have absolutely no tolerance for that difference. Technical and non-technical contributions are of equal value. Even if someone doesn't make good technical contributions, we shall value them for the other contributions they make. If someone doesn't make good non-technical contributions, we shall disdain them for their equally valuable technical contribution."

Yeah, sure, makes sense.
