Some MacBook Pro users complain about throttling issues

I'll second this. Picked up a used X1 Carbon ThinkPad a few weeks ago and the trackpad is the second best I've used (right behind the 2015 mbp). At the $500 price I picked this thing up for I cannot complain.

I picked up a t460s for $200 the other day to test out before getting some real horsepower. Absolutely loving it. Running Ubuntu 18 with i3-gaps.

X1 Carbon, $500, did you post this on /r/thinkpad because if you did it's a small world.

Small world. I swear I'm not posting about this everywhere!

Where did you pick up a X1C for $500?
