And I'm taking over openai
It should be the default since way too many links are pay walled on HN
I've seen a lot worst
90 percent of them ended up being innocent citizens ... And they knew about it

Imagine if it was 1 million million trees... AKA 1 trillion...
Does that run locally without the need to share information?
So what's going on there if it's not a secret? Yes... I do know the name.
Isn't life mostly carbon and water? And needs a bit of oxygen? Seems like the perfect match.

Good
> I continue to believe the best outcome here is for him to be extradited and face trial in the US.

Lol... They would send him in a secret military prison... That would be the worst outcome possible... He should have went where Snowden wanted to go or where he is by accident

Re:Why is it so hard to build an airport? on Friday March 22, 2024 @12:57PM (#39792592)
An airport is very simple to build if you ignore regulations (laws keep getting worst too because they mostly only add them and rarely subtract them... Soon it will be like building a nuclear reactor).
Login and password should always be on the same page and require only one <TAB>... How hard is that

My bank fucked that up too, long ago... I even complained about it... I think software engineers fuck stuff up on purpose for job security and/or for the sake of staying busy. Yet I can't find a job because I dont have an IT degree

Ideally, you would just require an extremly complex password and no user ID though... Something like UUIDs

i used to think like that but now I think we need regulations to keep these companies honest
This isn't a browser issue, its an Android issue... Found out how to get rid of it though... Disable notifications
Found out that you can by disabling notifications
I was able to solve it by disabling notifications... Really annoying though.
Re:Reverse engineering a car key fob signal on Thursday March 14, 2024 @10:49AM (#39704767)
Just buy a fob from eBay and program it using your car... Instructions can easily be found online
Got 3 children under 10 and they all have a bank card
So to get around this, porn sites have to post 2/3 of fake content generated by LLMs?
I'm still not sure why cotton is allowed on planes since it could be nitrocellulose aka gun cotton
You can if you use E2EE and not CAs
Re:Combating olive oil fraud with nuclear innovations on Monday March 04, 2024 @03:09AM (#39588113)
They can't even ensure we eat the type of fish we order... Food fraud is huge
Re:ShotSpotter: listening in on the neighborhood on Sunday March 03, 2024 @07:45PM (#39585928)
I accidently shot a pistol across the street from a police station near a airport and no one showed up (no one was injured either)... I guess we don't have shotspotters...
Do you have an example of it actually happening?
Re:Why I use Firefox on Wednesday February 28, 2024 @06:06PM (#39544675)

Re:Show HN: I made an app to use local AI as daily driver on Wednesday February 28, 2024 @04:56AM (#39535975)
Any censorship?

(Can't try MacOS Apps)

Re:New FCC standards should consider latency on Wednesday February 28, 2024 @04:49AM (#39535922)
I never had a latency problem in the US but then again I never had to use satellite... But if I did, there wouldn't be any other options anyways.
Re:Google's Gemini Headaches Spur $90B Selloff on Wednesday February 28, 2024 @04:12AM (#39535704)
Google just has too many employees ... So they change things that don't need to be changed just to have something to do?
