I think is it the missing of human touch in writings that makes us think something as slop. Obviously, impersonating won't take one far I guess. One of the things I'm avoiding to use AI is for writing, because it is hard, enjoyable at the same time and is the only way for me to express what I think.

I loved Liquid Glass too. It gave a refreshing look from the UI that I was seeing for quite some years. It drew the line that separated itself from rest of the competitors UI wise. It felt good, I don't much remember the older UI of iOS now, every now and then when checking for compatibility with older versions, I test through older UI and it feels very awkward.

I don’t think mid career devs are inherently worse, if anything, they’re in the best position to adapt. The real skill shift isn’t “prompt better” vs “think harder”. Rather, it’s knowing when to explore vs when to cut the tree down.
