Actually:
x = 1/2 * a * t^2 + v0 * t + x0
The idea was so that a web designer who didn't know any programming could easily edit it.
Technically this would be the 6th state of matter. The 5 others being:
Liquid
Gas
Solid
Plasma
Bose-Einstein Condensate (this one is really overlooked)
Over-engineering? You're confusing me with one of those guys that has to do a UML diagram before he can start coding.
Contrary to popular belief. Java is actually pretty good.
I know the Cliq will (T-mobile's Droid). So I'm guessing that the Droid will get it too.
But I only have two criteria. ;)

I can't say I'm exactly new to programming, but I'm new to writing algorithms that actually do something. I am a bit clueless at the moment, but I was wondering whether reading a textbook on the subject helps. I'm specifically considering "Introduction to the Design and Analysis of Algorithms (2nd Edition)" by Anany V. Levitin, or "Introduction to Algorithms (3d Edition)" by Thomas H. Cormen,...
I've seen other websites and organizations do this. I think it's a great idea and a great way to build skills.
I was able to set this up on my Windows Vista laptop, I got it to work pretty well. But I can type faster than voice recognition can understand me so I stopped it.
A place of enlightenment. Where budding hackers (like me) can come and learn more about the internals of the hacker subculture. I feel HN has opened doors for me that I didn't even know existed before. I feel like the whole world is at my fingertips.
This flash drive is all about the bragging rights. Until they come out with a 512 GB one.
