What exactly is the skill you acquire by using more AI? If the models get smarter, isnt it a waste of time to get good at the current gen?
Oh so its optimal to maintain a security team to secure your network but not to have on site tech

Re:Low cholesterol targets cut cardiovascular events by 33% on Friday October 30, 2026 @05:23PM (#50310331)
The problem is what he presents is not scientific or medical consensus. The data is on animal studies and it is irresponsible to push a prescription medication for not its intended purpose

Sean might be a good engineer but economy seems out of his arena of expertise
Re:The just-say-no engineer was a ZIRP phenomenon on Wednesday May 27, 2026 @12:31AM (#48289668)
Doesnt seem very testable of a hypothesis. As a company thats trying to get things done, doesnt it make sense to have someone help you prioritize by telling you when some decisions have long term costs?
The context this discussion seems to miss is the push to do more with less humans. Im not dictating the dev workflows. My bosses are. My judgment is as good as the amount of time i have to spend. Even if Im the best engineer, giving me a 2 min budget to review 10k lines wont go well. But it does not matter to my boss's okrs
