Great job implementing material design principles to Bootstrap. I would say I haven't seen it done this well except for I haven't seen it done at all.
This is one big "duh" for literally anyone around teens and pre-teens.
I agree the following two items have made me happier:
1. Removing my alarm clock and all electronic devices when I sleep
2. Stop measuring all exercise
IT companies are valued now on what they're going to earn in 20 years.
Philosophy is not "This is true" but rather, "What do you mean when you say, this is true".
I don't know what is going on, but I appreciate the fact that it's experimenting with UI methods.
There's not a whole lot that has changed in our theory of consciousness between the the establishment of French existentialism, via Husserl, and this video.

I can't picture developing WP themes without WP_Query class. Does that ever pose a problem for you?
If anyone can find a web archive of Eddie Designs I've been looking forever for it. I can't remember the URL.
Just an FYI some of the nav links point to the wrong URL when in the blog section.
Just an FYI I wouldn't have realized the Mad Mimi subscription confirmation email was related until I tried another email address and saw the same message.
How does user management work?

Almost finished with the series and two major points I received were:1. Implicit coercion isn't all that bad because once you understand it you can leverage it's power.2. Javascript pseudo-classes aren't worth using because the code is hard to follow and they aren't real classes. Using "delegation-oriented design" patterns like Simpson's "objects linked to other objects" are more true to the...

Does anyone else find it frustrating that there's no consistent nav structure on all the websites they visit?
I was always impressed with one of my past IT managers at how he could "wing it" when explaining the latest services his teams offered in front of a hundred people. He also happened to be a pastor so I figured he had learned something I didn't. I asked him if he had any secrets of the trade, and I'll never forget his answer. He said "Yeah, I know what I'm talking about." So simple, but don't forget to really know what it is you're explaining.
Where do you see v3 is no longer officially supported?
This is from their blog when they announced Bootstrap 4
"When we shipped Bootstrap 3, we immediately discontinued all support for v2.x, causing a lot of pain for all our users out there. That was a mistake we won’t be making again. For the foreseeable future, we’ll be maintaining Bootstrap 3 with critical bug fixes and documentation improvements. v3 docs will also continue to be hosted after v4’s final release."
I read Thiel's Zero To One recently and after reading it you can't help but think these kind of critiques are shortsighted. A technology company's worth is often a projection for what their value will be in 20 years. This is why tech startups can be expected to lose money for many years and still be valued highly.
vim-notes does have inter-linking, so I guess this project is pretty similar.
Thanks man, you're the best.
I'm curious if anyone uses SASS or Pug(jade) in Polymer components and how you implement. Do you use polymer-build / Gulp?
What about JS Modules?
I've always had a difficult time keeping notes organized. I think because I'm a web developer I always have a gazillion projects going on. I can't justify having a notebook for each project. I've tried keeping up manilla folders with loose leaf papers, but that was a mess. I tried three-ring binders, but that's not very convenient. A few weeks ago I tried the bullet journal technique and it's been working out well for me. It combines your daily calendar / todo list with project notes. I think it's just the simple idea of having an index that helps me most.
Have you found any writing or organizational patterns to be useful? When you design a solution, does that look like a flow diagram? When you engineer a solution, do you jot down in natural language what you think you should do?
How do you organize? Do you keep a notebook for each project? Do you use an index?
Do you start off with a todo list for you projects? Or do you use something like trello for that?
For me, most of my projects aren't large projects. They're lots of little ones. Bug fixes, feature add-ons, website extensions... those kind of things. I can be juggling 20-30 "projects" through-out the year and only need 1-4 pages for each one. Whenever I tried to keep a notebook I quickly get un-organized and lose energy for keeping it up.
I'm starting to think a 3 ring binder might fit my needs better. Do you ever use one of those?

What kind of notes do you take? Sketch out component views? Pseudo code?My grandfather is a retired electrical engineer who used to plan out and record progression on all his projects. He has boxes filled with his old notebooks. Is this just an old school take on project management and source control? Or do people find benefit in actual note taking during their projects? I've worked with dozens...
