iGPU usually drops frames on fractional scaling(I think I enabled it via tweaks app), I don't mind it that much but it still is an inconvenience.

even the http://bettermotherfuckingwebsite.com/ is taking 300ms in my 2012 MBP, 190 ms with every extension disabled on wifi, I am behind corporate firewall so that might be adding some time.

I believe opposite case is usually prevented, people don't usually take time off for no reason, they go on vacation, family emergency etc., an observed side-effect of unlimited time off is usually people don't take time off at all, purely a cultural(company's) thing.

So they screwed up in the past and those screw ups should be used to justify this one, their position is understandable but in any case they can use their discretion to make up for it and it should not take one person to blow something out of proportion and force them to make this change.

Mavericks and VB 4.3(4.3.2) doesn't really go hand in hand together, I wasted several hour the day before on trying to configure it properly to no avail, downgraded to 4.2 later on. It's better to stick with 4.2 if you are on mavericks.
