Re:Dear Facebook: You Suck on Sunday November 10, 2013 @02:28PM (#6708023)
As far as I can remember you can choose what updates you receive from different persons and you can also prioritize this by creating groups like "close friends",but as you said they can do better than this.
Re:Dear Facebook: You Suck on Sunday November 10, 2013 @11:05AM (#6706967)
It's your own damn fault.This is what happends when you have too many useless friends on facebook.Start managing your newsfeed.
Re:APK Downloader on Sunday November 03, 2013 @09:29AM (#6663281)
This is really useful.I'm sick of all those online apk downloading blogs full of spam.Thank You.
Re:I Quit Hacker News (2010) on Saturday November 02, 2013 @10:01AM (#6659201)
I have been less active since I lost my up voting (my fault,I had a few days when I up voted everything that hit the frontpage) and flag (no idea here) capabilities but there's no way I'm leaving hacker news. I find more interesting content here than on any other site.You can probably configure reddit to get a similar output but it's not the same thing.
Re:Ask HN: Why dont my upvotes work? on Tuesday October 15, 2013 @08:47AM (#6552880)
Strange.I just checked my upvote doesn't count either.
Re:Ask HN: Flag != Downvote, Right? on Sunday August 04, 2013 @01:00PM (#6156152)
Probably that change didn't affect newer accounts ?
Re:Ask HN: Flag != Downvote, Right? on Sunday August 04, 2013 @10:33AM (#6155755)
Not exactly accurate. pg modified the required karma for flagging a few months ago.It's probably over 1000 now.
Re:Yahoo acquires Rockmelt on Friday August 02, 2013 @02:31PM (#6148743)
I feel the need to comment as I also had the same bleak slightly amused face.This was better than all the funny stuff I've seen on the Internet today.
-deleted google account. -abandoned gmail,started using riseup. -trying out duckduckgo.

+already switched to Linux and started encrypting my hard drives long ago.

The only problem I still have is Facebook.I can't leave because of the groups.

Great.Another way to troll random 4chan users. Expecting "install gentoo","remove kebab" and worse.
You should try newsbeuter.
Re:Crypto-Anarchism Community on Friday June 07, 2013 @01:06PM (#5840115)
Why choose google plus as a way to sustain this kind of community ?
Re:I Don't Know What I'm Doing on Wednesday May 29, 2013 @08:37PM (#5790241)
I actually came here to recommend i3-wm. If you've never used a tiling window manager or used one but it didn't really work out,I suggest you give it a try.

Let's hope they don't make another waiting list for this.

What the fuck.

Later edit: Like many other will most likely do in their replies I'm also going to suggest an alternative that I've tried in the past. http://theoldreader.com/

Later edit 2: They even added a nice pop-up now. https://s3.amazonaws.com/i.imm.io/Zg6A.png
