Re:Launch HN: Moonrepo (YC W23) – Open-source build system on Wednesday February 22, 2023 @01:10AM (#34892239)
Came in here to say that Miles is an absolute fucking unit of an engineer / thinker. We just adopted Moonrepo at Gallery and it's been excellent. He's felt the pain of other tools (bazel, nx, turborepo). So happy to see this launch on the front page

Re:PowerToys – open-source Windows utilities on Sunday May 08, 2022 @02:59PM (#31307031)
Wishlist feature for PowerToys Run

The ability to search for an application and bring those windows into focus. This is my primary way of switching between applications (except for the terminal which I have bound to Ctrl+Shift+Space). It's much easier for my brain to just type the first two letters of the app I want to focus then to remember the state of the app switch history.

Does Google think they can do a better job?
Re:Kotlin doesn’t need an LLVM backend (2016) on Monday May 01, 2017 @01:07PM (#14239330)
This article pretty much summed up everything I thought I knew. LLVM is still pretty fucking sick though.
Re:Tmux and Vim – better together on Thursday April 20, 2017 @08:59AM (#14156229)
I'm sort of stuck in IDE Mode now. Been using IntelliJ for a few years with a vim emulator in it. It's alright but I miss this cool stuff too.
