Heh, I'm not asking for money this time, just that sometimes my threads gets buried. HN is great at giving suggestions from what I've seen and I've indeed received some useful one this times. Again, sorry if I sound suspicious, I can add my system's pics if you want.
I'm actually 15, I mentioned 16, because of the same reason people look differently at 17 year olds and 18 year olds.
I tried fiverr.com but none of my projects gets any buys.

Not sure about freelance though, will it work without any programing experience?

What are some ways I can earn online ($200-$300)? Just enough to buy a new PC.

My current specs are: Pentium 4 2.40 GHz 376MB RAM Intel integrated 82845GI've been using this PC for the past 10 years. The only games I can run are outdated and I've played them tonnes of times. I can now hardly run current games like minecraft (playing for 6 months) and warband. It has become increasingly frustating now.So, HN please help me buy myself a gaming PC. I'm all for online jobs...

well for gaming and running modern apps without any trouble, yes. I'm learning java but this is probably going to take more than 2 years to have enough skills to earn with it.

I honestly can not even browse properly with this system. Heck, it only knows multitasking in theory. I'm a big-time gamer and knowing to have missed all of those great games I wanted to play over the years hurts.

I'm good with computers, in general. I know very basic stuff about programming which doesn't really count.

I see fake/scam kickstarters all the time and I don't think I can create something good enough so people don't see it like that.

Ask HN: How do I earn money online just to buy myself a gaming computer?

I'm 16, and at this place, there's no way I can earn myself enough bucks by doing odd jobs. So, how do I go about earning enough money ($300?) just to buy myself a gaming computer, from where I can continue on myself. I tried youtube partner, but I don't have any original content to submit (neither I can make one because I don't have a camera). I tried to find some freelance work but couldn't...

Ask HN: Is this site selling Windows products very cheap from China legit?

This is the site's URL, http://huigoo.com.cnThey say it is because of the high piracy rates in China that softwares are sold cheap and thus they are selling it online. They only give away product keys and ask an extra $30 for shipping. It mentions that they will provide the COA image as well. The only payment method is paypal as well. Plus, their prices Windows's official prices from China.Can...

I think the scarcity of tools and resources are also a problem. At least in my case ;)

Despite being a non-programmer, I found this article really user-friendly.

Account creation is closed.
I intend to create an RSS Reader as a start. Most of such projects will be self-productivity apps. But, when I am convinced I'm ready to create full-fledged apps, I will move on to create a game (for a start) that I had in my mind since years.

To be honest, at the moment, I'm not really into earning an income from creating apps for WP. I just do it for the fun, maybe even earn if possible. When I actually reach to a point, when my skill becomes professional enough. I would want to look for opportunities related to my current activity.

Oh, $1000, was by default. Yup, I asked the local "mobile champ". Due to some complications, I couldn't receive the phone.
