That is a clever UX, Kagi seems to be very mature.

Wow I guess I am in the minority of folks building a search engine for humans now, this is a wild business model but best of luck to the 3 search index providers sitting behind this proxy, I hope it's worth their while financially speaking. Building an index is hard and expensive (I know).

I hope aup4 is smaller than aup3, because my number one headache with Audacity is file size bloat. Otherwise I love it!

Thanks for the feedback, and that's a great idea I should have done that! They are extracted and added each turn, all handled by the same middleware proxy that also handles the retrievals. I put the full code for that (memory_proxy.py) in the article.

Yes fair point, I often think about that.
Re:You could have invented PageRank on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @12:38PM (#49452006)
Let's not forget that PageRank unintentionally spawned the SEO industry.

If like me you run models locally, it's pretty easy to run your own RAG locally also using a Vector Database like Qdrant for persistence, and a middle-layer like Mem0 for realtime retrial and updates. I documented the set-up steps here: https://leadprompt.sh/a/739-Building-an-Infinite-Memory-Loca...

My review takes a different angle.

Will be interesting to see if they release the weights for local deployments. I love running Flux2 locally via ComfyUI.
Yes you are correct, most are horrible. I built my own as a hobby because I wanted to go back to the "ten blue links" model of the early Internet, but freely admit that model is now dead with the majority of end-users asking their AI assistants instead. Gemini is vital to Google as a result.
Ultimately AI will kill Google's search monopoly, not fines.
It will be interesting to compare this to Flux 2.

Side topic, but that website is awesome.
So one sample from somewhere in Germany completely undone my argument. I guess all of my lived counter-examples of aggressive cyclists on payments or running through red lights while my kids and I were were trying to use pedestrian crossings were hallucinations.

Many cyclists really are incapable of introspection, it's fascinating. It's less of a mode of transport for some, and more of an idealist crusade. They are hilarious.

But they are reducing speed limits also, so this is highly unlikely...
Sorry but I don't speak German, what's the context for that video?
What has got to do with it? Some of them are driving vehicles even larger than SUVs, e.g. tradesmen driving vans, builders with pickups etc.

The obsession with SUVs is classist.

Yes that is literally the only impacts, no unexpected consequences whatsoever...
