while we don't auto-apply to jobs for you, our browser extension, Simplify Copilot, makes it easier to apply to those multi-step application forms (workday, taleo, sap, etc.)

Re:Vercel: Improved Infrastructure Pricing on Friday April 05, 2024 @06:24AM (#39940744)
3x price increase for our team. Not a happy camper, mostly because I have no idea from where.

It's probably a great time to explore alternatives in case of future price hikes. The new pricing plan is immensely complicated, and might take the crown from GCP in price-complication.

Re:How Bad Is Your Resume? – Get Your Resume Roasted by AI on Wednesday October 04, 2023 @08:46PM (#37773625)
Hey y’all! Glad you guys enjoyed our fun side project. We hadn’t officially launched yet, super surprised Hacker News found this haha

For context, we’re Simplify (YC W21), and we are building a candidate-first job search experience. We’ve been fine tuning some LLM models to improve resumes, and thought it’d be fun to also have it roast some resumes! If you’re on the job hunt, check out our free AI Copilot: https://simplify.jobs/copilot

I’m the author of the website. This was a fun experiment from Team Simplify (YC W21). Surprised hacker news found it because we hadn’t really launched this yet haha
Re:I applied to 250 jobs and timed how long each one took on Wednesday October 04, 2023 @02:33AM (#37761589)
Hey! My company Simplify built a copilot for job seekers that helps with this. We’re also YC backed!

https://simplify.jobs/copilot

Try https://simplify.jobs/copilot

Common application for jobs and it will auto fill all your information in Workday apps

Disclaimer: I am the founder (we’re also YC backed!)

That’s sorta what we are building at Simplify: https://simplify.jobs/

We started by building a common app for jobs. One single profile that can be used anywhere on any job on the web. Recruiters index on so many different data points, and it makes it more straightforward for both parties if data is standardized

I’m a bit biased, but if you’re job searching in 2023, I’d highly recommend using Simplify. Autofills job applications, matches you to opportunities and automatically keeps track of where you applied via the chrome extension. Kinda the whole deal for your job search experience.

Source of bias: I’m one of the founders.

Re:Most people don’t finish online job applications on Thursday October 27, 2022 @07:49PM (#33365635)
Yes, the recruiting process is archaic. That's what we're trying to solve at Simplify (YC W21).

Our goal is to modernize the job application process and make it as seamless as possible. We're building a common application that helps you both discover and apply to highly relevant jobs.

One of the tools that is powered by our common application is our Job Application Autofiller: https://simplify.jobs/autofill

With the autofiller, you are able to breeze through some of the most annoying job applications (think Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, SuccessFactors and more). Our goal is to make this process as simple as one click.

Re:Most people don’t finish online job applications on Thursday October 27, 2022 @07:45PM (#33365604)
Hey everyone, I am the founder of Simplify (YC W21). We have an extension that autofills job applications for you:

https://simplify.jobs/autofill

Our thesis was the same: we want to make the job application process easier for everyone, and to prevent repetitive processes. We're looking to build a common application for jobs, and that starts with making your data work nicely with all ATS!

This looks awesome! Can’t wait to try it out for some of our marketing materials!
Re:A Guy Walks into an Apple Store on Tuesday October 27, 2020 @11:22PM (#24914767)
If Apple was truly out to help the environment, they would kill the lightning port altogether. Simplifying their product line to USB-C and aligning with the cables that the rest of the industry uses would actually contribute to helping the environment.
no that's completely unrelated
This looks awesome, will watch for updates. I run a small nonprofit and we spend around 350/m on support services, would love to cut this cost!
