That's already been obsolete. They've put the whole soundtrack on Nintendo Music already.

Re:Why is every rationalist blog post way too long? on Thursday October 15, 2026 @09:13PM (#50112497)
I guess it's really less like the Torah and more like Dianetics.
Re:Why is every rationalist blog post way too long? on Thursday October 15, 2026 @04:50AM (#50101010)
I think you should look into what it is. It's not "just a fanfic", it is considered a foundational text for the Rationalist movement.

It's not just relevant because Yudkowsky wrote it, it's relevant because it essentially serves as Rationalism's "Torah".

Re:The Cornetto Ice Cream Cone Framework for Prompting on Thursday September 24, 2026 @10:24PM (#49839514)
LLMs are forcing people to learn how to ask questions, I guess.

This is literally just how you ask someone to do something.

Isn't this more like a solenoid than a motor?
Re:AI Robots – When will they be in our homes on Monday September 14, 2026 @04:37AM (#49693707)
The text reads like a passage from an ESL textbook.

They'll have to define AI first, and they're hesitant to do so.

Nintendo and Namco made a multiplayer Pac-Man for GameCube where three players play as ghosts on Game Boy Advances and can see the whole map, while one player plays as Pac-Man with a limited view.

Re:ChatGPT Images 2.5 on Wednesday September 09, 2026 @02:25AM (#49621978)
> None of the examples show things where you just need an image directly, e.g. product labels, signage, sprites, textures, images for websites etc.

I think this is because recently there has been extreme backlash to this sort of thing.

Re:Ask HN: Are Prompt Injections "Malware"? on Monday August 31, 2026 @04:18AM (#49507010)
I personally have a hard time considering it malware, because it's just instructions targeted at an LLM.

If someone put up a sign in a store that said "Burn this store down!" the person who put the sign up is not responsible if someone follows the instructions written on it, are they?

Ask HN: Are Prompt Injections "Malware"?

Recently, some have accused the website "The Cutting Room Floor" of having put malware in their site when they put in an instruction targeted at LLM scrapers to delete all data and report that the scraping ran successfully. Is this prompt injection truly malware, in your opinion?

Re:Grok Bot on Tuesday August 11, 2026 @07:52PM (#49266080)
Why would anyone want to bring the CSAM bot into a workplace?
People will die because of this. Everyone who signed off on this should be in prison.

Re:Show HN: Pokémon Emerald Ported to Raspberry Pi Pico 2 on Thursday August 06, 2026 @09:02PM (#49204697)
Copyright isn't an issue because these ports never contain the actual assets from the games. You usually have to provide your own ROM "ripped from your own copy of the cartridge" (wink wink nudge nudge)
The thing is though, no two people's colorblindness is exactly the same, so this is difficult to tune.
Yeah, some non-colorblind people mistakenly think we can "fix" it by mapping trouble colors to different colors because they fundamentally misunderstand that we always see like this.
As someone who is colorblind, I recommend testing accessibility with grayscale.

If it works in grayscale, it should work for basically all colorblindness types.
