yeah I wanted to see if people changed their minds or had different takes. felt like the responses would change based on the year, but apparently hn is a much smaller world than I realized.

In college. I struggle a lot with ADHD. Some days I'm a machine, pulling Sam Altman levels of work hrs. Some days I cannot do the laundry. I'm still working on wrangling my symptoms & building better habits. So instead of an iPhone I use the CAT smart fliphone. Way better, and built-in w/ an instant pickup line too ("can I get your myspace" lol).
iPhone's apps are designed for addiction. the OS does things I don't want. My dumb brick has youtube music & a touchscreen when I need it

Just a quick ask of advice. Over winter break I've gotten two projects that've gone swimmingly well:- fun-ish ed tech startup w/ traction. (50k LOI, likely to have 200k end of next month)- Project I am super, super confident about & excited to work on.
