We need to find ways to prevent the console from calling home, that way we can prevent situations where Nintendo can tell me if I'm allowed to use or not the hardware I paid for. Literally the greediest company out there, selling decade old games for 80 bucks.
At this point, is it like a hobby project? Does anybody use this professionally?

I don't get it, why don't people put a simple screenshot in the README? I don't have time to figure out what your repo does and how it works.

If you want to level up your Zsh history experience, I built zhist[1] specifically for that. It uses fzf underneath, but provides considerably more context than simply using fzf. There's a demo video in the README.

That's literally just a configuration file. You can adapt it to your needs and create something even more tailored than the browser's default version.
Yes, you can use Canta[1]. When you select an app, it also provides you with some info (sometimes a bit vague) about what the app does. I used it to debloat my Oppo X9 Pro.

Nope. Only Browser that can on iOS is Brave.
FYI: Doesn't block YouTube ads.
Nobody says that AI code is holy, I'm pretty sure vibe coded crap by people that know nothing about writing code has the same effect.
If you're using any of these generated videos in any professional setting, I don't think I will be able to ever use your business.
OMG, you just made my day!
I would absolutely kill for them to open source their documentation system.
Atuin is a venture‑backed product, while zhist is like 1k lines of Go code you could probably read in one sitting.
I tried Atuin before and liked it, but the idea of a background service sending my command history to servers I don't control never sat well with me. A small boring tool that runs locally doesn't care about revenue nor will have to sunset any feature hehe
Atuin works with several shells, zhist only supports zsh because that's what I use. Both Atuin and zhist record each command together with its working directory and exit status. They both offer global and per‑directory modes. If I remember correctly, Atuin did not provide a quick way to delete an entry, whereas zhist assigns Ctrl‑D for that purpose (or Ctrl+X if you want to remove all occurrences of that command). Atuin also records how long each command ran, zhist does not but it will in the next release. Under the hood, Atuin uses SQLite, runs a daemon, and uses a sync protocol. zhist is a single binary that writes to a flat JSON file, with no service and no sync feature. With zhist, if you want to sync your history to another machine, you'd have to rsync the JSON file.
It replaces the default Zsh history functionality. It adds fuzzy searching, tracks the command's exit code and the directory it was launched from. There's a short demo video in the README.
Thanks. I also thought of skipping fzf, but it's old, battle‑tested, and does one thing exceptionally well. I doubt I could implement something better myself. The current implementation can handle hundreds of thousands of commands relatively fast (under 50 ms on my machine).

It seems to work fine here. Just be aware that you need to go into the site settings and re‑enable Old Reddit (even if it’s already enabled, you have to toggle it again). They did that some time ago, and it doesn't "remember" your preference if you use a fresh browser session.

Auto mode works really well with Safehouse [1]. I usually call Claude like this:
safe() {
safehouse --env --add-dirs="/tmp:~/.claude" "$@"
}
safeclaude() {
safe claude --enable-auto-mode --permission-mode auto
}
This way I will never fear Claude `rm -rf`-ing my home directory.

Depends how much they will raise the prices. They can 10x the price and it will still be affordable to run.
Why not simply hose the water directly? A water tank + a compressor would solve the pressure issue.
