First here relates to the first country that approved. Other OEMs already have hands off level two systems, nobody disputes that.

Agreed with this analysis. From a European who lived in the us my strong believe is that the US needs an electoral system that leads to coalitions. While far from perfect this is way better than the two party system that incentivizes the division in the public.

That seems to be inspired by the excellent Magazin „Delayed Gratification“, which had the same concept but is only published 4 times a year.

Wait, them trying out if the concrete alone is strong enough to withstand the launch makes you wonder how close we are? I’m wondering about life support, producing fuel in Mars and a lot of other things, but the floor of the launch stand really does not bother me at all. People love to complain about spaceX and this gave them a great reason.

I love that, especially when the giants are playing and tons of people are having a good time when you are on your way home from work.
Also funny when they exit in the city and the police immediately greets them and makes them throw away any leftovers ;)

Although I can only reallyvouch for the original German version (Keine Panik vor Mechanik!)

Why would that shock you? An epidural has side effects that should be taken into considerations. Plenty of women have kids without any medication…

For a regular user the “petty actors” as you call them are actually scarier. Who wants to have their hard disk encrypted and pay $$$.
The “actually scary stuff” is extremely important, should definitely worked on and improved. It’s important to advocate for that and educate the common user.
But in my opinion for the regular user, this is not an immediate problem.

That’s what a bouncer is. And I already used it to solve this problem 20 years ago.
The main point back then was of course that nobody steals your username.
