I made an Xcode plugin to draw all accessibility and style data for your views. You can use this to compare to designs or see where accessibility is missing.
Re:ARKit Testing with RobotKit on Friday January 02, 2026 @09:34AM (#46465128)
Hi, I made a Swift Package to control a Robot during my XCUITests.

I attached my ARKit App to the robot so that I can reproduce movements during my integration tests, video after the jump.

Show HN: Gesture Composer for VisionOS [video]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oShnzTdyEWg

I wanted to create some custom hand gestures for my Vision Pro App, but looking at how you had to do it in code seemed like a headache.I also wanted my gestures to be able to be shared between Apps I make. So, I made Gesture Composer, a VisionOS App that lets you create custom hand gestures that can be exported as a file.Paired with the GestureKit Package https://github.com/nthstate/GestureKit...

Most of my problems would vanish if there was an official way to run workflows locally, something like:

shell: run_workflow name=MyJob in=MyWorkflow.yml params={}

Hi, I've been using RealityKit for a while now, and whilst it's great, I've found myself wanting for more Debugging features, I've created this small Swift Package with the aim to help visually debug Transforms, Vector and Materials from within Xcode

Re:Show HN: Augmented Reality Route Setting for Climbing on Friday February 19, 2021 @01:35PM (#26196306)
Hi,

I've made an AR Route Setting app for iOS called Climb Designer, I've been working on it during lockdown whilst I can't go to the climbing gym.

The app has lots of holds/volumes & walls that you can place/stack anywhere.

You can change the color/texture/size of every item, and if you make a mistake, it supports undo/redo.

Using RealityKit Collaborative Sessions you can let a friend help you design a climb together.

Phones with Lidar scanners mean I can map your environment better, and even create a 3D model.

If you visit https://www.climbdesigner.com on your iOS device, tap a route, it will load in AR using Apple's QuickLook Technology

It's free on the AppStore: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/climb-designer/id985956922

Thanks for reading!

You can hover/long press on the green traffic light item to tile your screen.

I wrote an app to visually create Core Haptics, videos here: www.haptrix.com, I found working with the API to slow to experiment with.

Hi!I've been working for a few weeks on a node based vector design tool. It's non-destructive and exports to Sketch and Illustrator. You can create graphs of Vector Nodes which feed into each other and produce a new Vector shape.I've created a quick video on how to use the grid component, and also a longer video where I go other a few more features.Longer...

Re:Russian Peasant Multiplication on Friday November 17, 2017 @11:41AM (#15723515)
oh, I always thought it was called Napier's Bones, oh well.
Re:Russian Peasant Multiplication on Thursday November 09, 2017 @03:00PM (#15665396)
I struggled and still do with multiplication taught in School. As a child my dad showed me "Napier's Bones". I haven't looked back since, it may be slower, more drawing, but for me it works

Re:Goodbye Mac App Store on Saturday March 11, 2017 @07:59AM (#13845300)
It would be interesting to do a study of what features developers require no-sandbox for, then maybe Apple could address those specific areas.

Most of the apps I make use the sandbox with no problem.

I clicked chat now and it said login with Facebook...that's when I decided to nope out. It also feels like it has conflicting purpose: to make new friends, and for dating. I understand these aren't mutually exclusive.

Anyway, just my $0.02
