Apple Music. I can’t understand how you can develop such an slow and laggy app in your own OS, even in an iPhone 11 Pro. I stayed on Spotify but would have love to be able to enjoy the lossless audio

I think you are just using the wrong analogy, because the vision is not usually to build something but to achieve something. So the analogy should be something like:

If you have a vision for getting people to move from one place to another in a better way, you should build whatever achieve moving people from one place to another in that better way. Getting rid of everything that is not necessary for you to test if you are really getting people from one place to another in a better way.

Re:Ask HN: What was your experience using a graph database? on Thursday January 03, 2019 @04:58PM (#18819714)
We started using AWS Neptune (you can use it either with SPARQL or Gremlin) for a medical knowledge graph and while the AWS service is very good, the problem is the same as with any other NoSQL database:

Schemaless is ok if you just need to throw data and then analyze it in whatever way you find, but for two way data flow (ie: using written data in a user facing application), schemaless is a true headache and you end up keeping your schema in the application level anyway.

Besides that, the experience have been great, our hyphotesis of evolving our schema of concepts and relations between them freely have been proved successful.

Ask HN: Should Apple buy DuckDuckGo?

Given Apple commitment to privacy, and sharing almost every service with Google (Maps, storage, browser, OS, etc.) except search and DuckDuckGo having a great momentum, this looks like an obvious step, what would stop Apple from doing that?

That's why I love to use Vue to handle complex frontend states without building a full SPA
Super excited about this!!!!! BUT The preview link (https://pages.aws.com/NeptunePreview.html) is broken, can anyone at AWS team help us with that?
