You say it's open source, but don't provide any link to the source code at all
So you basically just filter the UI elements from the website? How often do the social media platforms change their structure and you have to update the filtering?
Thank you for your feedback. I agree and I will improve it.

It helps you generate blog articles based on your project and suggests blog topics. It learns what blog topics you like based on your previously accepted and rejected suggestions, so it can suggest better topics as you use it.

Ahh, so do you not use AI to create the script for the voice over? you do that manually?
Hey! I would love any feedback or critique, so I can make this better. Please let me know what you think, thanks.

Hey guys!I don’t like writing blogs, but I like having relevant blog posts for my projects, which helps SEO.That’s why I built this tool for myself to easily generate and download blog articles. It can also suggest blog post topics, which you can reject and it won’t suggest similar ones in the future.

The music in the preview intro is so loud you can almost hear the narration. Also, I don't see the value in this - $10/month so I can listen to podcast style AI voice over of research papers you choose?
I tried some prompts and it kinda works OK, here are the prompts I tried: 1. A man is stuck in time loop and reliving the same day over and over, and there's a pool, and some goat (Palm Springs) - it showed up as 2nd option 2. a movie where they talk about the mission to the moon and they are working on the live streaming the landing, starring Scarlett Johansson (Fly me to the moon) - didn't find it at all 3. a movie about black slave becoming a free man and a bounty hunter (Django Unchained) - got it

I have some questions: 1. What data are you using and where are you getting them from? 2. What's the advantage to this compared to just using some chatbot? I tried gemini 2.5 pro with the same prompts as above and it got all of them the first try, so theoretically better than yours.

One thing you could add to the UI to improve it would be a link to imdb page for each movie in the results. Also, maybe you could make the example in the hero section functional - it was the first thing I looked at and tried typing my prompt in there, only to realize that's just for the looks. Hopefully this feedback helps you make it better.

Hey! I made this tool and ever since I added the "current streak" widget to my GitHub profile, I couldn't stop coding every day because I wanted to see how long streak I can achieve and after like 15 days, it became a habit for me to code something meaningful every day. It definitely pushed me to finish some projects and start a new ones.

The other day I was making a "nice" readme for my GitHub and I found a web that let me embed a widget with some stats, but it didn't work well because 50% of the time it didn't show anything due to the rate limit on their token. It was using their own personal token for all users. So I built my own alternative for this, first I made it just in a form of API only I could use and after some time I...

Doesn't the GitHub copilot do the same? What are the advantages of this?

I thought GPT would have identified correctly more of them. I guess manual checking is really the only reliable option then. well done

Very cool. I was trying to find some places that should be there but aren't or some that shouldn't but are and didn't find any, so good job. Did you only use gpt to extract place names or did you do some other checking as well? btw the embed feature is amazing.
There are some features which could be included in the paid plan in the future. Also the tech stack can handle a couple thousand emails every month without any operational cost. In the best case if a lot of users sign up, I can still restrict access to existing users to keep the service operational for them.

The limits and pricing can of course change in the future.

The goal is for the users to be able to send some number of free emails (currently not limited) every year or month unlike futureme which provides just 3 emails for free in total, then charging $9/year even if user only sends 1 email per year.

Yes, thats right, the emails are stored in plaintext in the database. The database has the row level security rules configured so that users only have access to their own data.

It uses Resend transactional API which, based on their docs doesnt store the contents after the email is sent.

Hey! I am mondov and I spent past month working on this side project of mine. This is my first full stack project that is available to anyone, so any feedback is appreciated.

Show HN: I built app to send emails to my future self(Free FutureMe Alternative)

https://www.emailtofuture.com/

I used to send 1 email to myself on January 1st every year and schedule it for the 1/1 next year using FutureMe. This year when I wanted to do this, FutureMe started charging $9/year because had I already used the 3 free emails, which is an ok price if you use the service often, but why would I pay $9 for 1 email every year when I can build myself an alternative. So I built EmailToFuture - free...

Really nice UI! and the social media limits are useful. I needed this a few days ago, bookmarked and will use in the future. Thanks!
