Now here's a guy who can really break down what ruins a broadcast crew.

Let's see ESPN get a reservation at Dorsia now!
Buy an old Dodge W250 with a 12-valve Cummins 6BT, and enjoy mechanical fuel injection and 160 hp. No emissions control, no timing chain or belt, no overhead cams, no aluminum block or heads, ABS is optional, no airbags.
There are far more government social programs than unenployment benefits and stimulus checks.

GMO implies a lab process with specific alteration of genes, while traditional plant breeding to traits only exposes phenotypes as indication of results, and relies on the pre-existing variance in species to provide new traits.

I'm guessing the hole it originally sat in is still visible?

Re:How did Microsoft make Flight Simulator seem so real? on Monday April 05, 2021 @11:29AM (#26700322)
But Doom Eternal wasn't developed from the original Doom engine, same with the new Flight Simulator.

For those asking, it's in section seven, additional clauses:

The closest that's actively used is Wabtec's FLXdrive, which is a battery-powered locomotive run between two conventional diesel-electrics. Not a bad idea, since braking with the electric motors otherwise dumps the energy as waste heat. There's also the Railpower Green Goat, which is diesel-electric with a storage battery.

If you incite violence against a specific group using a specific platform then yes, the publisher has some degree of responsibility for that. What's wrong about that observation?

Sell sturdy vehicles with compelling features, like standard front three-point seatbelts in 1959? Volvo did go through the financial wringer into the 1970s, with a rocky launch of the 200-series and the heavy vehicle division being separated from Volvo Cars, but the 700-series was enough to bring them back into solid financial standing.

They look like reasonable bookcase speakers to me, not enough hard gray plastic with yellowing from heat to be vintage OEM like these:

It's an easy qualitative decision to consider a variety of species with pleasant calls and plants which coexist in their own niches better than swarms of one single species of bird and an aggressively invasive plant species which chokes out all other growth. Knotweed in particular is an absolute pox on the landscape in North America.
That's why you use dust or pyrethrin spray as well, and seal them in afterwards. Hot burning wasp death!

Blood doping increases red blood cell count and compensates for physiological changes which happen during an event like the Tour de France, it's disingenuous to call it nutrients.
Is there evidence to suggest that standard immune response to coronaviruses doesn't apply to this particular strain?

Somatypes are an ancient pseudoscience, while caloric intake relative to TDEE doesn't lie.

Caffeine seems to be a known bronchodilator, so you're not wrong there.

A deliberately obtuse interpretation, a fence is a manmade structure while those aren't.
2000 Volvo with same radio interface as the earlier 850. For playing a particular song, rest my wrist on the shift lever and push seek next until it gets to the right track. For a specific station, same button until it lands on that station. Not particularly distracting, and minimal glancing at the LCD readout that only shows current frequency or track number.
Feels like North Korea's magic ability to resurrect military commanders after they're allegedly executed by artillery cannon, etc., lies running laps before the truth puts on its shoes.
And to be more specific, you can roughly model it with a Gompertz function: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gompertz_function
Please remember that epidemics must, by rules of reality, logistic curves, not exponential.
Re:Show HN: Slower News on Wednesday March 11, 2020 @11:14AM (#22546493)
I think it's very intentional. As hackneyed as the phrase is, the current political atmosphere has seen this rise of demographics change as a feared thing.
Re:MessagePack: like JSON, but fast and small on Tuesday March 10, 2020 @01:41PM (#22537593)
It's taking a different angle from JSON, encoding it in JavaScript is done from standard objects into a UInt8Array.
SARS-CoV-2 is the later, official name of 2019-nCoV.
