Top million though! Still earliest 1%.
Tech support scams still?! I don't even understand how this is possible. If Google wanted to they could come up with the tech to bypass the spam/scammers own ghosting system. They must have some kind of invisible Google bot that checks for downloads/scams, right?

Phone providers should also be detecting this with AI. There is no way this should be occurring anymore.

It is a tool to control people they don't want to shut it down.
Wouldn't the best solution be ensuring they all end up in an appropriate landfill rather than a river?

It seems people are so against landfills that they're happy to sort their plastic and sent it on an epic journey of fraud where it ends up in a river in India. Meanwhile it could have been buried with their other trash and appropriately managed.

Wish there were some way to detect impurities like this at home.
Where are they going?
Didn't someone discover the entire system prompt also?

Cave explorers commonly get rabies prophylaxis as you can apparently catch it from the air without even being touched by a bat or their saliva.

Yeah it's definitely the computer programmers with their bohemian lifestyles ruining everything and not the oil companies or some bigger issues...

Seems like a non-issue - don't Americans have to pay taxes on worldwide income?

Like why is this article blaming nomads for migrants drowning in the Mediterranean?

Sorry I was referring to the boost you get from having ram integrated into the chip vis-à-vis apple’s M-line of processors.

Having replaceable ram is not really a marketable feature these days.

I will accept the trade off for the performance boost tbh.
They are referring to the screen lagging/tearing while scrolling

> I'm not even sure what the notarization step was accomplishing: the inventory sheets aren't affidavits.

The percentage of people who see the word "notarized" alongside "inventory sheet" and simply give up must be quite high. Notarization accomplishes nothing besides causing a headache. Insurance companies don't make money by paying out claims, you know.
