What's the value add? Why is it different from signing up with each deal source? besides removing the clutter? Why is it better than yipit?

It looks clean and simple. Easy on the eyes. You need categorization of the deals for easier navigation I assume you'll add more deal sources.

Everything else Nishank says too.

Re:Ask HN: Help choosing App name: Resume vs CV on Thursday January 20, 2011 @12:09PM (#2124278)
This may be an obvious statement, but why not try both? I assume you can get domains for both and test it out.

I work in finance and I've seen CV and resume used interchangeably. But more resume than CV.

Network first. Start with your network locally and ask if they have contacts in Philly. Join some meetups in Philly.

You write your own resume. Don't spend more money doing that. You know yourself best. Then get your friend to review.

Thanks. I was thinking giving them the weekend.

Ask HN: How long to give a website to fix their security flaw?

How long should one give for a website to fix their security flow before warning their customers? Corollary: How should it be done since I can't reach out to their customers?<p>Background: The hack is simply changing the id variable in the url. If the product works and you start to take market share from the incumbents, then they will seek you out. Market share is your leverage. If you go straight to them with a product that isn't a huge step forward, you'll either get ignored, get a lowball offer, or get squeezed you out as the competitor injects money into the app. In general, I don't think it's a skeevy practice to form a company expecting to get acquired.
